This course will follow USA Track and Field guidelines for the skill development of novice to intermediate runners. Instructional components will cover pre-meet warm-ups, form running, race strategy and nutrition. Athletes will work-out during each session engaging in various activities and exercises designed to improve speed, strength, agility and coordination.
These workshops will highlight soccer fundamentals focusing on accurate passing, consistent trapping, controlled defense, and skillful team play. Sessions will include individual skill development drills, partner and team oriented activities, and short sided games. Athletes are asked to bring a ball and wear shin guards as well as indoor soccer shoes.
